Hazardous Snow Training Refresher
Course overview
This is a ONE and a HALF DAYS course for drivers that need to renew their HAA endorsement. We offer refresher training and assessment, as required by VicRoads.
Driving on Mt Hotham
You must complete a one-and-a-half day reassessment of skills associated with bus operations in hazardous areas.
Driving in all other areas
You must either:
- complete a one-and-a-half day reassessment of skills associated with bus operations in hazardous areas.
- complete a statutory declaration which states that the driver has driven a bus in a hazardous area at least five times during the last two snow seasons. National Driver Work Diary pages or other proof may be requested
To participate in this course, you must:
- hold a current vehicle class Driver's Licence.
- have experience in operating heavy buses and/or coaches.

Students must pass both a written assessment and a practical driving assessment in order to successfully complete this course.
Individual Participants
All courses require a position holding deposit of 50%, you will be advised of the amount at the time of booking. Payment MUST be received within 48 hours of booking the course or the place can be given to another student. The balance will be required prior to the course commencement date. Facilities include Bank Transfer, EFTPOS, Credit Card or Cash.
Please note there is a 1% surcharge for debit card payment and 1.5% surcharge for credit card payment.
Employers/Employment Agencies
Employers/Employment Agencies will be forwarded an invoice upon receipt of booking form. Unless prior agreement has been made, 1 Stop Training Centre’s payment terms are 14-day from the date of the invoice.
Should payment continue to be outstanding beyond the payment terms as stated above, the customer is responsible for all costs including any legal costs and any other fees that are incurred by 1 Stop Training Centre in recovering any outstanding monies.
Should a participant not attend the course/class on the nominated day(s), full fees for that participant will be charged, unless there have been prior arrangements made with 1 Stop Training Centre.
